In an effort to provide different means for connecting with the Buddhist teachings, the Kumarajiva Project has been exploring using music, audio, and video to enhance the experience of our readers. Here are our music offerings.
With COVID-19 spreading across the globe, the team of the Kumarjiva Project felt it would be helpful to translate On Entering the City of Vaiśālī, which had not yet been translated into Chinese. In the sutra, the Buddha instructs Ananda how best to help the people of Vaiśālī, a city which had been ravaged by a terrible virus, by reciting specific mantras and other verses. The Kumarajiva Project has produced an audio book, dharani recording, and short video teaching excerpt to accompany the translation.
